As a public health worker and liberation theology Christian, I get that @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social is pinging allllll my confirmation bias with Everything is Tuberculosis.

But that doesn’t mean he’s wrong. He’s very, very right. 💛

I love it when public health people talk about butts. So cheeky.

This is a webinar later this month from the New England Public Health Training Center: www.nephtc.org/login/index....

Reading Jennifer Pahlka’s Recoding America has been transformational for me this year.

If your jam is making government work better for people, this is a *must read* regardless of whether you work in tech (I don’t)—SO MANY ways to apply lessons to all gov work, especially communications.

I chose five. Technically, the Ella/Verve retrospective was reissued when I was in middle school, but since rules are meaningless anyways

Honestly, all five of them should just be OK Computer 🤣

Six books left to finish this year’s 52 Book Club challenge; sharing Sharon McMahon’s debut with my middle-schooler has been the highlight of my fall, and I’m about to tackle my first ever @stephenking.bsky.social book (I scare really really really easily, y’all)

I’m knitting and drinking kombucha at my afternoon meeting.

A person at the next table over is crocheting and drinking kombucha.

So if you’re wondering what the cool public health kids are doing these days, it’s clearly this.

New job + busier schedules = almost no D&D this summer

D&D = donuts & destination playgrounds

My soul has missed this, so much 🥺

We were gone for a week and this beautiful Charlotte built a giant web on our garbage bins and now she’s snacking on a wasp head.

Question 1: HOW FREAKING COOL IS THIS

Question 2: How long can we live without our garbage bins as she’s clearly taken them over and they’re hers now?
