Trump is already defying the courts.
He has no more right to defy a district court than the Supreme Court.

A. Single lawmakers don’t pass bills, and
B. Legislation goes through slowly. I found articles about this bald eagle bill from September. “Important” bills also usually take a long time.

I have plenty of issues and criticisms of and with the South Korean political system and their politics in general, but the fact that we can’t even live up to some of the most basic fundamental principles of our democracy better than anyone else anymore is so disheartening.

If this is accurate it’s really worrying. We need to figure out what we can do to bring young men back. It’s unfortunate that we’ve alienated them so much as liberals and leftists and pretend like it’s not our fault in any capacity. There’s so much we can and should do that we don’t.
i do kinda wonder what 4 years of Trump will do to zoomer gender polarization given that female GOP representation appears to be consistently lowering while male GOP representation is going up

Pretty much how it goes. I love when I see people attribute specific things to liberalism as though it hasn’t evolved considerably since the inception of the concept, and as though it won’t continue to do so. The great thing about the system and ideology is adaptability.
