Not enough. They banned Nezza for singing the anthem in Spanish despite having such a large Latine fanbase. Folks started organizing and calling for boycotts, so now, this. Yes, ultimately this helps impacted people, but it’s more performative than meaningful change.

I was watching a movie with my 10yo today. He asked me what “turmoil” means. I read him the definition: a state of great disturbance, confusion, or uncertainty. He said, “yeah, the U.S. is in turmoil.”

Since I’ve made the switch from the place that shall not be named to here it’s been hard to find artists, journalists, and music pages run by Black, Brown, and Indigenous people. Didn’t anticipate running into this issue on another platform but here we are :/
