KEEP SHARING YOUR STORIES about increased ACA premiums due to the disappearance of subsidies. The stories clearly are having an impact, they help people feel less helpless, and they create solidarity that leads to action.

Mine went from $395→ $821. What happened for you?

The ACA did 3 big things in the insurance market:

1. Guaranteed access irrespective of pre-existing conditions.

2. Required benefits like maternity and mental health, and prohibited lifetime and annual limits.

3. Provided tax credits to help people afford insurance.

Why do we have money for Argentina while our own people lose their health care? How does this make us great?

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.

It’s because they know their health care plans are deeply unpopular! That’s why they’re afraid of leaks.
Mike Johnson talks about the Republican "healthcare plan" like it's highly classified information: "We're not gonna be on a conference call explaining all our plans and strategies for healthcare reform, because they're leaked in real time."

Starting Saturday, millions will log on to sign up for health coverage.

But this year, too many will see premiums that doubled or tripled.

Why? Because Republicans shut down the government to rip away the tax credits that keep care affordable.

Would be great if our nation’s top health official understood the difference!
There are two different KFF numbers about the ACA out there. Both are accurate, but mean different things.

114%: The average increase in out-of-pocket premiums if enhanced tax credits expire.

26%: The average increase in what insurers are charging for benchmark ACA plans.
