My personal thought is that it will be for the 10th anniversary event next year. That's the only thing that makes sense to me as an event big enough to justify having held off on releasing Arceus this long for.

If you're curious, here's the number of missing Pokemon from each generation. More than half are from gen 9, as I'm sure you could guess.
Gen 4: 3
Gen 7: 8
Gen 8: 29
Gen 9: 59
Also yes, gens 5 and 6 are complete in Go while gen 4 is not. They still haven't given us Phione, Manaphy, and Arceus.

I thought for a second that he might have Mega Kingambit because the Kingambit statue really stuck out as weird to me (I think it's the only reference to a gen 9 Pokemon in the entire game?). Thank God that didn't actually happen because holy shit, that would be terrifying.

DexNav had long intimidated me out of trying it as a hunting method - it just seemed so complicated to me for whatever reason. But it went smoothly once I wrapped my head around it. It's... probably not my favorite method, just because getting the 3DS circle pad to just slightly tilt is a pain.
