My #1 priority in Pokemon Go is completing my Pokedex, so it's gotten to the point where I'm just hoarding every incubator and Rare Candy I get, because there's always going to be some new Pokemon that's exclusive to eggs or requires a stupid amount of candy to evolve. Sometimes both.

My wife's favorite Pokemon is Dragonite, and they wanted a shiny alpha Dragonite more than anything in Z-A.

Fun fact! Pokemon Go Wild Area has begun in Japan, adding the Impidimp line to Pokemon Go. This is significant, because that means that the total number of Pokemon catchable in Go is 926 - meaning that Go is officially less than 100 Pokemon away from having the full National Pokedex!

The base game of Legends Z-A didn't add any new Mega Evolutions for any gen 9 Pokemon (as there were no gen 9 Pokemon in the game), but it also didn't have any new Megas for any gen 3 Pokemon either. These two fix both of those issues, and now every gen has gotten at least one new Mega this game.

Recently learned about the injustice that is Taillow having not been available in the wild since ORAS, so I decided to hunt it in ORAS to show that it wasn't forgotten. This was my first time doing DexNav hunting, and it paid off! After multiple broken chains, I got it with a chain of just 13!

Mega Starmie is fucking hilarious. With how much the intrigue of it is built up in the story, the end result just being Starmie with longer legs actually made me laugh out loud.

I was prepared to potentially phase on Mime Jr - it was a 60/40 chance in Jr's favor. What I was *not* prepared for was to go over triple odds twice! This legitimately made me have to check if I did indeed have the shiny charm on this file. (I do)
But that's just how hunting goes sometimes! 🤷

I hadn't been spoiled on what shiny Mega Drampa looked like, and it was such a treat to see it in-game! The yellow complements the storm clouds nicely, it's like a big thunderbolt! 🥰

Shiny Drampa after 292 encounters (after starting to do this hunt properly!) My first actual Z-A hunt, and my goodness, shinies are so plentiful in this game. In the 2 days I was hunting this, I found a total of 23 shinies! 😱

So I phased 14 times (one Kangaskhan not pictured here bc I gave it to my wife) before I got an inkling I may be doing something wrong... turns out flying to the gate for the wild zone doesn't actually respawn the Drampa because it's too far away. You have to run to and from the Drampa. D'oh! 😫
