Yup, you read that right! In the final months of 3DS online, I managed to successfully get enough friends to access all 191 Pokemon in the XY Friend Safari, and I plan on shiny hunting all of them!

Playing through the Isle of Armor the wrong way (transferring Kubfu out of the game so the story lets you continue without it) and it's so eerie. The dojo students refuse to speak with you, and Mustard is "not mad, just disappointed". They really want you to feel that you fucked up.

Don't think I'm gonna make a bingo card for 2026. I don't think I have enough shiny hunting plans to fill one out - I kinda forced one for 2025 by filling it with targets that I didn't really think I was gonna get around to, and I only ended up even starting less than half the hunts on it.

Well PSA if you fly with a Switch 2: The battery in it is big enough to be considered a laptop-style battery for TSA, so you've gotta take it out separately. Was never a problem for the Switch 1, but both mine and my wife's bags got flagged for additional screening because of it lmao

I already have 3 of the shiny legendaries available in Mega Dimension, but I may just hunt them again anyway simply because shiny huntable legendaries in recent games are becoming so scarce. This game only has 5, and SV had a grand total of zero.

It's cool that there's a few non-shiny locked legendaries in Mega Dimension, but tbh the thing I care about way more is that Gimmighoul isn't shiny locked. 🥹 Finally, a way to hunt it that isn't time-limited/excruciatingly tedious.

Yeah some of these missions are TOUGH. I did a side mission where I was 10 levels above the enemy Pokemon and I still barely survived.
I'm really satisfied that this DLC isn't just a walk in the park even for someone with a maxed out team.

Pokemon being able to go above level 100 in Mega Dimension (even if it's only temporary) fixes my main problem with Pokemon DLC - which is that my entire team is level 100 by the time the DLC comes out, so we just steamroll the usual level 70-80 trainer battles. So that's neat.
