Watching cloud movement thru a Timelapse is amazing! Fascinating watching air move in so many directions and different heights! A dance.

Was in a perfect spot for this storm that rolled in from Langley to Pitt Meadows. Saw 4 bolts, caught 2. Slowed down and darkened to see better. Still tough to see everything.

Severe warned storm over Lac La Hache Wednesday. Shelf cloud, you can see approaching as the vid goes along, lightning, strong wind, heavy rain and hail. Mini rotations in the clouds. Seemed to be a right turning storm. Wonderful to watch!

If you are near the #YVR beaches and have a few loose items on W facing balconies or balconies exposed to funneling, you may want to take them in before going to bed. HRDPS 1 km producing gusts to 60 km/h beaches overnight (2.5 km depicted) and the Euro EFI risk assessment product the same.

Hi, my name is Dave and I’m a Timelapseaholic. Is there a 12 step program for this? Anyway, these were the showers that go with the pics posted earlier. Big old cotton balls floating across the sky dropping rain. Sun halo too!

Excellent (& scary) essay on the philosophy of Curtis Yarvin, who has heavily influenced Dear Leader & Elon. He advocates techno-authoritarianism, an autocratic model with no govt employees or universities or free press. Everything serves the Leader & the technocrats. time.com/7269166/dark...
What We Must Understand About the Dark Enlightenment Movement
The “Dark Enlightenment” movement and Curtis Yarvin have curried favor with tech executives in recent years, writes Ed Simon.

Sky looked amazing when I got home yesterday afternoon so I started a Timelapse. Ended up doing 3. Turbulent skies, brief halo, rain showers developing and passing over me, then nightfall.
