Things you miss by not being at "the other place": this morning, I see that Elon is spreading Great Replacement Theory and claiming "Dems" are bringing in "illegals" to become voters. Makes my head hurt. And yet, at "the other place," his word is law. So disappointing. Such a waste of intelligence.

I was sad to hear from Neil's sister Nancy of Betty Peart's passing at age 90. I met her, & we kept in touch: just a wonderful person. But since 2020, she endured so much sadness: losing her son Neil, her husband Glen, her son Danny. Now, she is at peace, but my heart goes out to the family.😢

It's a sad commentary on what we've become as a country that one of the questions at the Brown U press conference was "How often do you practice active shooter drills?" I grew up in an era when assault weapons weren't widely available & school shootings seldom if ever occurred. I miss those days. 😢
