Nothing like a combination of logic & process of elimination, & I solved the Wordle in 3. Meanwhile, people keep asking me where my Wordlers are from. Okay, Boston (USA) here. Also, how did you do? Wordle #1,698 3/6

In England, the Epstein files are causing folks to lose their jobs, & reputations are being ruined. But here in the US, GOP members of congress are focused on protecting their own (& finding new ways to go after the Clintons). How sad for the victims & for those of us who want to see accountability.

It's Black History Month and that should not be erased. One person you should know about is the Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Moneta Sleet Jr. Thanks to him, we have lots of amazing photos to document the Civil Rights Era. His work deserves to be remembered.

Per the NY Times, the Trump admin is now moving to expedite the removal of little Liam & his family, who have NO criminal record and are NOT "the worst of the worst." It's vindictive & petty, but it's predictable. It's also wrong, & Liam deserves better than this. Contact your member of congress.

Call me skeptical but I've seen this playbook before: POTUS posts a racist meme about the Obamas. His base loves it. The WH defends it but some folks on both sides of the aisle are outraged. He takes it down & the WH blames "a staffer." Nope. He got you talking about it & pleased his base. Win-win.

Excellent opinion piece about the capitulation of Robert Kraft to Trumpism. Couldn't have said it any better. (Howard Bryant is an outstanding writer, by the way, and his books are worth reading.) www.theguardian.com/sport/2026/f...

I'm saddened, but not surprised, by the many good reporters the Washington Post has laid off. If I recall "Project 2025" correctly, the goal is to eliminate actual journalism & promote pro-Trump commentators. It's a shame Mr Bezos has embraced the authoritarian playbook. All this for tax breaks?

Thousands of "illegals," most of whom have no criminal record and work hard to support their family, have been grabbed up by ICE. But what about all the companies that hired them-- at factories, slaughterhouses, construction companies, etc. Has even ONE executive or CEO been arrested? 🤔

So, the Trump admin is defending the arrest of 5-year old Liam, and it plans to appeal the judge's decision. As for Liam, he's glad to be home & just wants to have a pizza. (As for me, I'm embarrassed and ashamed that my government thinks arresting 5-year olds is something worth fighting for.) 😡
