It’s late, gonna hit send & sleep. Today was a blast having a little art exhibit at my Church where I am Artist in Residence, & then Compline & oh, I have ministry duties as well. Because of course I am also wanting to help reach difficult & hard to reach children through Art Therapy.

I dont know if I will burnout but I need to find a way to slow the fuck down before that happens or I will crash. Hard. My memoir is written & off at the printers, so there is that weight off my mind, but I have two-three more books in the pipeline & no idea when I can return to these Until Jan 2027

I think my art mind is running way hotter than it has ever done. I can pinpoint it to when I started taking LSD regularly. I’m in Compline watching a giant globe spin as a 20-part male choir sings & I have a set of 4 voice motets forming for Ketabasis. I cant schedule realising it until march 2026

And then there is my entire solo punk project, & the electronics I used to build, Fuck. I am approaching burnout but I cannot stop. Its driving me to the edge of what a being can do. Critter wants to have time to be just Critter, the plan is to eventually let her take over so she can drive me more.

I neglect writing when I draw, but then I neglect my drawing, which neglects my poetry. Poetry places me in a state of Ekphrasis where I immediately illustrate it which knocks me off my writing focus & then I scramble to write a Therian ritual in for a girl in a forest & Lykaeon needs words to Run.

Yeah they’re edible (though quite bland or mealy when raw) they are often used to make liqueurs, jams, or preserves and are delicate when you drop a load of sugar on them.

Here is the reference I used. I’m not too proud to admit I did a draw over for the anatomy and then nudged in photoshop. I struggle with human limbs and often just hot cross bun pawbs — but the eyes of sheep and goats I would lose myself in — forever.
