Where there is breath, there is hope. Also, I'm scared shitless....and brave every day.
It's a lovely afternoon at Lions Field in Bremerton. Peaceful. I love the Pacific Northwest.

I want to go to our local protest today, but I've been at home on leave for my mental health, and l just don't think I'm quite ready for going to something like that. Im so torn. I WANT to be there, but i think it would cause a setback.

Please post photos, stories, etc, from what you see, BlueSky!

SUD treatment professionals, how will we continue to serve people if we lose critical funding sources?

Are you planning? Brainstorming?

Now, I'm sorta maintaining sanity when staying very busy using the resources I have at hand. But I can't help but worry what changes are coming, and how soon?

A relapse prevention skill we teach sometimes is "urge surfing." I feel like the past couple weeks I've been needing to practice this, in the shape of worry, fear, anxiety surfing.

Keep riding the waves. Please don't drown.

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

What is going to happen to Medicaid. It funds the treatment of EVERYONE I serve. RFK, the lesser, wants the people I serve put in labor camps. No. NO.
