I struggled to allow my son to attend the public system when we ended up in Barrie On for kindergarten having spent close to half of my public schooling in the alternative system. Only to pick him up day one, singing “good-bye, good-bye to you and you and you. Goodbye, may God watch over you.”

I don’t think he could be convinced and the role of independent senator would allow him to pursue his issues totally unencumbered. I think you are on the right track, but I am very leery of splitting the vote, ultimately we need to unite the left.

Funny, after I wrote that I remembered that years back I ran for city council twice. There were local issues that needed fixing, you can often move the needle by running, didn’t have much hope against encumances.

There is a united church across the street from a public elementary school down the street and every Thursday afternoon they sell home made butter tarts. Maybe not the best place to teach.
