Just caught this brat on the stove trying to scavenge off the pans from cooking dinner. After returning to bed, he hopped up beside me, laid down and started purring as if he’s not in SO MUCH TROUBLE. I hate that he’s so cute and dumb and trusting. Stupid orange fluff.

Currently reading Storm Glass and while I’m finding it hard to not spew utter hatred at some of the minor characters, I’m enjoying it enough. This quote has jumped out at me too.

My snuggle-buddy finally came out of hiding after a 6am rude awakening. Stupid smoke alarms screeching because it got cold in the house. Guess I hafta run the heat a bit higher at night.
And orange and white fluffy cat sleeps curled up on red sheets, a snowflake printed pillow behind him. He is letting me gently hold his paw with one of my hands.
