Mrs Hart's Marriage Bureau is a teeny-weeny 99p on kindle for the month of February! Feminist, feelgood, historical fiction. @harpercollins.bsky.social @romanticnovelists.bsky.social

If you'd like to support your fave authors in 2025 but you're skint, you could:

- make a social media post about the book, just as basic as "i enjoyed this" and a picture (don't forget alt-text)

- rec it in a relevant reddit thread or Goodreads forum or Facebook group

Word of mouth has an impact!

It was all looking a bit sedge-has-withered-from-the-lake-and-no-birds-singish today at Springhill, which is about the only place the dogs and I can get to in this weather, local roads being too treacherous to walk on. Though in fact there isn't a lake, and a rather jolly robin followed us around.

I've deleted my FB author page as it had become redundant, so one of my NY resolutions is to make proper use of this place instead. And of course you can find me on my website, www.sheenawilkinson.com and on Instagram. In the meantime, here's Lough Neagh a minute before it started sleeting just now.

What an honour to kick off @emmapassauthor.bsky.social #BookAdvent with Mrs Hart's Marriage Bureau! It's a cosy read, so perfect for this time of year!
Happy December, Bluesky! Every day this month I'm going to try and share a book (fic, non-fic, poetry) I love. A kind of #BookAdvent, if you will.🎄📚

First up: @sheenawriter.bsky.social's MRS HART'S MARRIAGE BUREAU – a gentle, intelligent inter-war romantic comedy, perfect for fans of Dear Mrs Bird.

I joined this a year ago and then sort of let it lie. But now it looks like so many others have come here -- or come back -- that I decided to try again. Do follow if you're here for bookish chats and kindness.

I've been lurking here for a few days. So far it seems very civilised. Do come and say hello.
