Loving it. I am trying to make it last! I don't normally 'do' anything fantastical but I do like a good timeslip. I love how you make us know and love your characters so quickly.

Yes! We just did! Nice to see you on here! It's definitely worth more than 99p! Hope you enjoy it!

Love these books!

With two/more POVs tend to write in a linear way, changing viewpoint for a chapter at a time. I tend not to like books where we get the same scene from two different POVs (unless that's the whole point, of course!) as it can slow the narrative, so I like to keep forward momentum.

This is my life too. Well, one dog is almost always silent, one almost never.

I've sometimes done an exercise (as a writing tutor) where you write the final scene first -- of course things will change a lot, but it does give you something to work towards and is surprisingly helpful. Good luck!

They are destructive all right -- our dogs are the same. But worth it!

Me too for all its faults-of-its-time. There was a good adaptation on R4 (or possibly 4 Extra) a year or so ago that I remember enjoying. And absolutely, reading MDV at about 14 was perfect -- I had crushes on Mark AND Leo!

You too!

It's awful, isn't it? I am in a few private FB groups that I would really miss, and I do enjoy Instagram. I left Twitter a long time ago. Not sure what to do. Maybe social media has had its day -- except if all the sensible people leave, it's much easier for the lunatics to take over the asylum.

Don't know how I missed this, but how wonderful!

Thank you for a very entertaining listen! I loved the reminder of Lynne Reid Banks' My Darling Villain, the first YA I ever read back in the 80s, and a longstanding favourite. I did an author event with LRB about ten years ago and she was extremely formidable and wonderful.

Excellent! I have long wanted to try her, but genuinely wouldn't have known where to start. Thank you!

There is one... written and edited and ready to go ... Sadly there isn't a publishing deal for it. But I vow to find a way to bring it to readers in 2025 so keep watching!
