This is my sweet Ziggy, who we rescued 13 years ago. My little baby got a terrible diagnosis at the vet, which I knew in my heart. This is our last weekend with her as we've cuddled, pet, hugged, and given her every favorite treat. Helping them across the rainbow bridge is so hard

I grew up in Calcasieu Parish and escaped. My dad worked in Sulphur. These folks are fed a diet of right-wing nonsense in most churches, prayer groups, and Fox. Calcasieu was featured in the book "Strangers in Their Own Land," delving into why people vote against their own interests. Recommend!
