Last night marked Kuf Alef Kislev—the 81st anniversary of the Satmar Rebbe's escape from Nazi-occupied Europe. His rescue and founding of Williamsburg's Hasidic community shaped our city. Grateful to celebrate this history with the community and greet the rebbes.
