Even Fox News can't report on a legitimate reason for the unlawful detainment of a legal, permanent U.S. resident.

Having just watched "I'm Still Here" about governments "disappearing" their residents and citizens. This is a new level of injustice from trump, his administration, and his supporters.

Each year since 2021 my wife and I attempt to watch all of the Best Picture nominees. We made it just under the wire, finishing with The Brutalist.

IMO, this year's picks were a step up from previous years.

Except for The Substance. That was stupid.

This is the correct response to all popular music, beginning the day you turn forty. I too hope the young people had, and will continue to have fun.
my rural local news put up a post asking what people thought of the halftime show and this little old white lady commented “I didn’t get it but I’m old. I hope the young people had fun. I liked his pants and his jacket. 💕”

If you haven't been paying attention to trumps' attacks on trans people, you need to. It's scary stuff.
"The chaos of these past few weeks shouldn’t mask that in this period, Trump has also waged as direct a campaign against a single, vulnerable minority as we’ve seen in generations."

If you want to know what kind of person trump is just listen to his press conference about the plane crash. Ignore the horrible things he said and listen to how he said them.

Note when he speaks with emotion. Not when he's offering condolences, it's when he's placing blame and going after enemies.

What if the plane crash wasn't trump's fault and wasn't DEI's fault?

I don't think that they could do an updated version of this. It wouldn't be funny because nothing they could come up with would be more outrageous than the truth. We'd all just end up weeping like Jessica.

I sort checked out from political news after the election.

I can't do that anymore because that just helps him and those implementing and supporting his horrible actions and agenda.

But damn is it hard. He's hellbent on being the worst possible human being, isn't he?

Whether he did or didn't doesn't officially matter. And as a Christian pastor, I'd rather he didn't.

1. Because he stands for everything Jesus was against.
2. Because it's a civil office, and why should Christianity be the norm for the ceremony?
Wow! Trump literally did NOT put his hand on the Bible while being sworn in.

I would caution people to stop relying on the Constitution as written to have any meaning other than what the people Trump put on the Supreme Court says it means.

"He can't do that" is not a useful response to the things he's going to do. The correct response is "Will the Court uphold that?"
Trump cannot abrogate birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment by way of executive order. That’s not how constitutional rights work.
