Our next walk is 6 June when we will explore the tarns above the langdale valley. What could be better in this beautiful weather! This is a wonderful circular walk with some steep slopes but we will spend our time exploring rather than climbing mountains!

Today felt like a proper day out. Starting with a boat ride with the Keswick Launch Company followed by a wonderful walk up Catbells, before hopping back on the launch to take us back to Keswick. A small but mighty adventure. #mountains #lakedistrict

A nice romp up Left Parallel Gully on Brown Cove Crags today with @sharonkennedy.bsky.social We decided to rope up and pitch it so we could refresh some winter ropework and belaying. A fun day out on the only proper winter line in condition in the cove today. Nice to see Matt, Alex, Paul and Chris.

You’ll find folks who carry cable ties and some gaffer tape on the hill for repairs. With the rise in popularity of zipped boots, what are you going to do with a stuck zip?
