What an epic day! Yesterday Team Tortoise took on England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike. We used the Corridor route and despite the low cloud on the way up we were treated to spectacular views on the way down.

Our next walk is 6 June when we will explore the tarns above the langdale valley. What could be better in this beautiful weather! This is a wonderful circular walk with some steep slopes but we will spend our time exploring rather than climbing mountains!

We do get some good weather on our walks!
Today felt like a proper day out. Starting with a boat ride with the Keswick Launch Company followed by a wonderful walk up Catbells, before hopping back on the launch to take us back to Keswick. A small but mighty adventure. #mountains #lakedistrict
