It's always a delight to visit the tiny island of Kerrera. Lots of wildlife today, including two white-tailed eagles, a golden eagle, three great northern divers, and an otter. Oh, and if you've never been it's also a stunning place, with an exciting castle, and some interesting geology too

We desperately need some convictions for these crimes - not just those killing the birds, but those who are paying them to do it.
The shooting estates refuse to clean up their act. It's time to make them.

Our most recent Hill and Moorland Leader training course. This one was run in the Kirkby Stephen area, including days out on Wild Boar Fell, Great Asby Scar, and in the Howgill Fells.

Here's our Hill and Moorland Leader training course dates in 2026?

Old haunts. I've always loved being "on the moors". The North York Moors National Park was the first National Park I explored in my youth, so it was lovely to get back today for a walk at the Wainstones and Easby Moor with @sharonkennedy.bsky.social
