I’m so confused by the folks who said that raising the minimum wage would increase the price of every day goods while also being okay with tariffs raising the price of every day goods…
I reckon they are okay paying higher prices as long as it doesn’t help anyone making a minimum wage.

Carney would be a good choice for the Liberal Party - smart, articulate, and most importantly not directly connected to the Trudeau government. But can he connect with the average voter that is concerned about cost of living and general anxiety about the state of the world? #cdnpoli
I can’t help but feel engaged again as a Liberal Party supporter/member at the prospect of a Mark Carney campaign. He is going to scare the shit out the Conservatives. They are going to go into overdrive to tarnish this man.

This week, The Agenda on TVO had a panel about Canada as the 51st state and why it’s ridiculous. The word “Indigenous” was not uttered once. They followed that with a piece about rehabilitating John A. Macdonald’s legacy. I would just counsel some soul searching about that for that program.
