I am pleading with you in all my pain and sorrow. I am exhausted. My family in Gaza is drowning and freezing from the bitter cold. My child is ill; he has two holes in his heart and damage to his optic nerve. Please help me to assist my family in Gaza and provide treatment for my child, Ahmed.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Sharif. Sharif and his wife came to Egypt prior to the war to get IVF treatment- which was successful and they had twins Husam and Ahmad. Husam has a congenital heart disorder. They have not been able to go back but also cannot work in Egypt.

Being from Gaza makes life incredibly difficult even when not in Gaza. Sharif is essentially stuck with no way to make money and a child with significant health issues.
