I raked up the leaves this afternoon. Went into the house to make a congratulatory mug of tea, which I drank while I watched the neighbor blow all his leaves into my newly raked yard. SMH

I’ve personally witnessed bowl incontinence due to a lifetime of drug abuse. It’s a horrible experience to be the person that has to clean that shit up.

I’ve personally witnessed bowl incontinence due to a lifetime of drug abuse. It’s a horrible experience to be the person that has to clean that shit up.
We elected a drug addict as president and we marvel at his erratic and unstable behavior. And those that are enabling him need al anon.

A friend of mine showed me her official letter saying that she would not get snap benefits on nov 1. Three kids.
My family can help her family through it, they will not go hungry. But I wonder how many families are facing serious repercussions this evening, with no community to support them.

Welp. I have to start my painting over. I made a big boo-boo and the painting as a whole cannot be saved. But, I have another project that requires deconstructing a painting and putting it together in a new way, so all is not lost.

I got an email from a local nonprofit asking me to submit some of my photos for their calendar. Happy to oblige!
TBH, I haven’t taken artistry photos for a couple of months because it doesn’t seem like I have the audience for it here like I did on FB.

I’m ok with pumpkin spice and everything Fall that’s nice, but I cinnamon pine cones are the bane of the season. Only 2.5 months left to go until I don’t have to be bombarded by them every time I leave the house.

I was excited to find these little mushrooms on the greenbelt, which I thought were the tasty meadow mushroom, or Agaricus campestris. Meadow mushrooms have pink gills that darken with age. However, closer inspection revealed they were the toxic yellow stainers, which turn yellow when bruised.
