Sorry, re-read that. That answers the environment question presumably.

Can panoramas be used as environments, or are they just as pictures to look at? Always could be very dramatic widgets of course. I've been taking a few when in special places just in case.

Dunno if panoramas in RAW is an option?

I'm fascinated by VP, but have no reason to buy...yet!!

Are you able to take a 360° panoramic spatial photo yet?

So you could afterwards look around the full cathedral from a particular spot?

Happy to be of service. I once got into a taxi in Dublin wearing a cool new outfit. I was nervous about deviating from the norm but did it anyway.

The taxi driver was on the phone when I got in. First thing he did was finish his phone call saying "I have to go, this fella's wearing dungarees"

I dunno. I reckon they wouldn't care about such popularity - that's when they promote a third party solution instead of releasing themselves.

A bit like the polishing cloth. In hindsight it presumably sprang from the development of the Vision Pro, but was released three years before the first VP.

@hilli.tech Thought this was interesting!

Apple doesn't just randomly release products like this - it's prepping the way for *something* in the future! If not a product, then learning about a key something.

Apple is not using Gemini to "power" Siri, no matter how many times it is asserted.

Will it be available as a tool for Siri to throw some tasks to? Sure. But Siri is still powered by Apple Intelligence, and soon, app intents will feed data into that mix.

The LLM backend of Siri will be Apple based

Was that due to the M2 and so now would be solved?

Focus should be:

1. The design brief provided to the OPW for the design of this new Garda station. What requirements were included for short-term parking?

2. A wider culture of pavement parking by Gardaí. A senior management issue.

3. Only then, individual Gardaí trying their best in a tough job.

Fair point. Appreciate the explanation Shane. Preview is a useful little utility. It lets you open all kinds of documents, including word docs, and PDFs, mark them up in all kinds of ways, work on photos too.

Here’s a good starter video.

I've never had a Mac and AFAIK about 2/3rds of iPhone owners have never owned a Mac.

So I've no idea what all the "normal preview things" are and I'd say there's a lot like me. Which is why it has felt very unApple-like to me.

I'll be the first to use them 🤣
