It's driving me insane. This was one of my topics in a post I wrote today. I'm so tired of hearing about how Apple Vision Pro being a failure or Apple giving up.

It's just objectively not true.

Trueee, but they do instill their whole identity from the ground up so I doubt much will change as far as moral stances on privacy. But yeah, I expect this would work a lot like HomeKit Secure Video where your home cameras in Apple Home use your faces data in Photos to label people on your doorbell.

This is straight up fascist bullshit. I'm curious to see Apple's private implementation based on your personal contacts and photos, if this feature comes to Apple at all.

In all seriousness, I'd love to play through the entire On The Way To A Smile novella series as a kind of slice-of-life walking sim as DLC after Remake 3 ends. (I know, I'm boring)

Still wondering if they'll keep Advent Children cannon or if we'll get yet another version of that movie.

Dirge DLC?

"I can't believe Apple, giving Trump that piece of glass was the last straw. Let me show you this thing I Googled and watch it on YouTube." -- people, apparently

Meanwhile, Google literally silencing people critical of fascism:
At Google, speech critical of ICE is censored from the company's internal platform, employees who speak out are served with warnings, and leadership refuses to acknowledge a petition that's now gotten 1,200 employee signatures.

Inside the worker-led push to get ICE out of Google:
Google is stifling anti-ICE speech in the workplace as 1,200 employees call on the company to cut ties
The search giant has made it harder and riskier to protest its policies. Workers are still fighting back. Plus: A community takes down a data center, QuitGPT, and the 5 worst Super Bowl AI ads.

For example, the character being a person with blindness is treated no differently than the character that is invisible, so he can't see his own injuries to treat them. It's quite brilliant and seems to have been written with accessibility representation in mind. Absolutely recommend.

What's most notable beyond the absolute joy every episode brings to someone that knows what it's like to fall in love is how the characters interact. It's a world where animal people and invisible people exist. Nothing is "disability" but just a part of living.

It's a beautiful anime.

Excellent read, and I'll toss one out there:

"The Invisible Man and His Soon To Be Wife" is an absolutely infectious and adorable anime about an invisible man falling in love with a coworker who is blind.

Every interaction shows love and care. It's never treated as a problem or something to solve.
Addressing Ableism Through The Lens of Anime: Robert Iveniuk examines how anime can be used to shine a light on the ableism people with disabilities face in reality, using Komi Can't Communicate, Your Lie In April, and others as subjects.

Apple has the power to end all these regulatory battles, it just won't

Going to create a bot called "is Apple still doomed?" and have it post every hour that Apple is doomed, then all the Apple websites will report on it, then Jim Cramer will interview the bot live on TV, then I'll become rich.

That's how it works right?
February 11, 2026 at 8:57 PM
The idea of something being delayed when it has never been announced is just silly on its face. Beyond that, the report cites opinions from December and January, and may even have confused an internal feature flag as a sign of a delay.

We'll see what we get with iOS 26.4 and go from there.
February 11, 2026 at 8:49 PM
So much of Apple rumors is exactly this. I get so tired of it, and there's not much we can do to stop it because *everyone* covers the grifters, so ignoring them isn't exactly an option either. 😭
