Growing up in the 60s and 70s in a succession of former British colonies, these were ubiquitous. I now see them as a tool of cultural colonialism, but what a world of info and literature they contained for a young questing mind.
I mentioned my green Penguins earlier; here’s the collection as pictured a couple of years ago.
