A work in progress with great potential.
A little whispered inspiration at one of my favorite local cafes while working on my novel after grabbing coffee with a friend.

I discovered my local @buffalolibrary.bsky.social has an extensive collection of Criterion Collection films. I’ve let most of the streaming services go. Amazon Prime was the last to go. I’d forgotten how great DVDs are with commentaries and trailers.

Google’s AI informed me that the writer T.S. Eliot’s second wife Valerie died in a car explosion on Law & Order SVU. If AI is the future, I’m going back to the encyclopedia.

So why hasn’t Anna Delvey (Sorkin), an actual criminal who over stayed her visa while committing crimes been deported? Wasn’t all of this supposed to be about getting rid of criminals?

It was great to go to the Central Library in downtown Buffalo today to see so many kids and teenagers there for the first day of spring break.

Took a 6 mile walk to Canalside this morning with Stella. She doesn't look it but she's 12 now and still loves a long walk (as long as the weather is nice and it's not Buffaloing too much)

My new favorite hobby is using Amazon like a search engine. If I'm looking up new craft books, I see if my library has them. If they don't a make a request for them to purchase and now everyone has access!

Do your local library a kindness! Share this if you love and support libraries and librarians (don’t forget your school library & librarian, too!) 😊📚

Thank you to all the library workers who keep the magic alive—you’re true heroes! ✨💚

I just finished up the third round of interviews for a new job and it has been an incredible experience. The questions were thoughtful. They were genuinely interested in me and sharing what they love about the company, a rarity in today’s job market.

Stop already!

A.I. is like soy in the late 90s and early 00s just toss it into everything- food, skin/hair care products, and clothing.

It seems like every company is claiming some kind of A.I. tech but too few are able to explain how and why it’s being utilized beyond talking points.
