A little whispered inspiration at one of my favorite local cafes while working on my novel after grabbing coffee with a friend.

I discovered my local @buffalolibrary.bsky.social has an extensive collection of Criterion Collection films. I’ve let most of the streaming services go. Amazon Prime was the last to go. I’d forgotten how great DVDs are with commentaries and trailers.

Took a 6 mile walk to Canalside this morning with Stella. She doesn't look it but she's 12 now and still loves a long walk (as long as the weather is nice and it's not Buffaloing too much)

Yertle The Turtle was one of kids’ favorite stories when they were little. Let’s all be like Mack, the turtle at the bottom, who burps and topples the whole structure!

The best part of moving to Buffalo for me is the Central Library located downtown. There’s so much to do and so many resources.
