FANTASTIC NEWS! In one of the first elections held after Trump’s November victory, Democrat Mike Zimmer has flipped a GOP seat by winning today’s special election in Iowa’s Senate District 35. Zimmer will fill the seat vacated when Chris Cournoyer was named Iowa’s lieutenant governor in December.

Illinois has virtually no regulations on homeschooling, allowing parents to pull vulnerable children from public schools and then not provide any education for them. Officials call them "no schoolers."
