This is why Elon Musk’s X platform was fined by the EU. Elon refused to follow the regulations that every other platform has to adhere to in the EU. This is not a “free speech” issue.

Soms heb ik het idee dat de Teletekst-redactie iets teveel z'n best doet om neutraal te blijven. Als Nederland het luchtruim boven België gesloten zou verklaren, zou dat toch anders gebracht worden dan dat er te 'weinig bekend is over hoe het 'gehandhaafd' moet worden.'

Het hoort natuurlijk bij onderhandelen op Marktplaats. Maar als het eerste bericht al meteen is 'en is er nog wat aan de prijs te doen?' denk ik als eerste: ik kan hem omhóóg doen, maar da's vast niet wat je bedoelt.

If you're trying to convince your friends to spend time on Bluesky rather than X, maybe show them this. X is not "the public town square" or about "free speech." It's "just what Elon Musk wants you to see." If you see stuff he doesn't like he'll step in to make sure you don't see it for long.
If you scroll on X, you are only being shown what Elon wants you to see. If you create content on X, no one will see it unless Elon wants them to.
