Cutting disability rights is usually first because it is the most diverse group of people to whom ableism can be widely applied.
Keir Starmer took over a political party that was built to fight for workers and the working class, and turned it into a liberal, white supremacist, and zionist outfit. I hate the UK as much as I hate the US, and hope they implode, as well. But damn, I didn't see cutting disability rights coming!

The difficult part is how disability and chronic illness are used as justification for Ai. The community wants and needs it for medical applications, accessibility and early detection.

Flyers and posters at the radiologist’s office (standard checkup) about how they use AI to detect cancer and the (justified) public hysteria around it has me having to remind myself this is the GOOD kind of AI that actually saves lives and is an enormous step forward in medicine and not evil
