As context: AEA approximately never makes such public statements

This is a big deal

JFC. I'm so tired of being angry all the time, but it's just one heinous story like this one after another these days.
The morning that Cmdr. Elizabeth Nakagawa was scheduled to have a D&C to remove fetal tissue after losing a very wanted pregnancy, she learned the surgery had been canceled because the military’s health insurance plan refused to pay for it.

A Coast Guard Commander Miscarried. She Nearly Died After Being Denied Care.
U.S. service members have long faced strict limits on abortions, even when used to resolve miscarriages. Under federal law, the military will only pay for abortions in cases of rape, incest or to…

#Baltimore Mayor #BrandonScott invested in 42 summer youth camps, 29 literacy programs, extended the rec center hours to 11 p.m, planned block parties, opened the pools for safe fun, & opened several schools up for summer classes. Crime is down 62%. 🔥🔥 www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...
Baltimore is seeing the city’s fewest homicides in 50 years. Here’s why.
Multiple people have taken credit for the historic drop that mirrors a national decrease in violent crimes. Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott says it’s due to a community-based approach to gun violence.

@alaskaairlines.bsky.social I’ve been a cheerleader for you for so long but what’s going on? Second cancellation of MRY-SEA flight in two trips, leaving me hanging.

ICE stripped a German green card holder naked, drove him from Boston to Vermont to Rhode Island, put him in a cold shower, deprived him of medication, sleep and food until he collapsed.

No one knows why he was detained.
Green card holder from New Hampshire 'interrogated' at Logan Airport, detained
Fabian Schmidt’s family said they are unsure of why he is being held. They said he has a recently renewed green card, and no active issues in court.

“We just had word that all our fellows and post doc staff are laid off effective immediately. The famous Epidemic Intelligence Service, aka the Disease Detectives, is no more. That’s 1260 staff.

They are calling this ‘Phase 1’.”

Take this one to heart America. The very definition of air traffic control is the "safe, orderly and expeditious" flow of air traffic. Those *exact* words in that *exact* order.

"Demon mode" is the last idea you want near ATC. Every rule in aviation was written in blood. A lot of it.
Let me hammer this in:

-I have endlessly reminded people that US commercial aviation is a *miracle* of cooperative, collaborative safety systems, studied and admired around the world.

-What could make me say: 'Start worrying about getting on an airliner'? Exactly this. Musk bros in the mix.
🛑🛑🛑 I cannot stress this enough:

Introducing Elon Musk into commercial aviation safety will be disastrous. Both Tesla & SpaceX have been cited by the US government for numerous safety failings.

Pair that with misleading advertising and you see a total disregard for the safety of the public.

Note the framing here by Luke Broadwater and his editor: they're going for the "Dems in Disarray" narrative.

Because they write to the narrative.

A premise that would have captured the *real* dynamics:

"Trump's 'Flood the Zone' strategy creates chaos and confusion within his own administration"

NOW: More than 98% of #Costco shareholders have just rejected an anti-DEI measure

The attempt to force Costco to audit their #DEI work was by an anti-inclusion lobby group:
