Folks complain about the evils of social media a lot and sure there are issues, but they forget how very isolated so many people where before the internet!
The other thing people forget is that social media is sometimes the only avenue for folks who are disabled, medically compromised, can’t find childcare, etc. Everyone has a way they can organize!

Republicans are not afraid of making a superpowered presidency, basically a king, because they know that when the Democrats eventually get a president, they will NEVER use that kind of power to actually help the American people. They won't restore balance to the supreme court, they won't do shit!
