I'm sorry, nine HUNDRED former DOJ lawyers all signed this letter opposing Emil Bove's nomination to be an appellate federal judge?

900?!

Book 10 of 2025
Quicksilver by Callie Hart
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Continuing my attempts to dissociate from the real world. Looved Kingfisher but I'm getting bored with Shadow Daddies. That said I already preordered book two. It was pretty much every romantasy trope combined but like in a good way?

Book 9 for 2025 💙📚
Dream Girl Drama by Tessa Bailey
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's honestly embarrassing how much I love hockey romances. I loved the snippets of Chloe & Sig's weird stepsibling dynamic in The Au Pair Affair so enjoyed having a whole book about them. Perfect way to end this godawful week

The National Park Service has removed "T" and all mention of transgender people from the Stonewall National Monument.

Trans women were some of the most influential activists behind the Stonewall movement and what followed.

3 articles of clothing laws were why raids happened.

Erasure.

Finished Book #8 of 2025. Deep End by Ali Hazelwood. 5 ⭐️. Loved the healthy communication and consent (sorry never gonna be a dark romance girlie). Ali is an auto-buy author for me and this is my new favorite of hers. #booksky

We could have had Kamala Harris. Instead, we have the most immature, petulant, stupid, needy, incompetent dipshit to ever enter American politics.

What a tragically stupid country we are.

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.

Johnson and Thune are handing over the own keys and relinquishing their own power. Even for the cynics this should be a shock.
We all like to yell at the Democrats, but it’s really Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune who are letting Elon Musk and his faceless goon squad make a mockery of their power as leaders of a coequal branch without uttering a peep or lifting a finger.

Weird that we have to say this, but the government doesn’t get to decide what gender a person is.

There’s no such thing as working productively with MAGA nihilists like Elon, Vivek and RFK, Jr. They want to bring down our Republic. Don’t normalize them by pointing out a few of their good ideas.

You can’t play nice with the leopards. Let them into your house and they will eat your face.
