So yeah that Deputy Chief Clerk job title I spent 10+ months making moves to get in another district the second I heard the Chief was retiring? I have a theory about what happened but I was always like it’s ok because I’m happy where I am and the DCCs/CC treat my title as a DCC in training.

There have been a lot of strange but quiet noises coming from the backyard and I kinda don’t want to know what’s making them 😬 one I thought was my cats nose whistling when he breathed but it didn’t match up. The other was like a faint woo going up and down. Not the usual culprits noises…

Shit be brewing at work because another person being majorly impacted by what’s coming (who has been here longer than most of the office combined so it’s bs) is creating a ripple effect with lower level staff that I can’t explain this to yet so they think I’m being bitchy for fun or something.

Love science, esp meteorology & astronomy since I was a kid. Pharmacists were in demand at college time so I did that. Turns out I truly do suck at math. Did psych for a min, wound up w philosophy degree, went to law school bc dad & grandpa were judges. Atty/court administrator now, may go for judge

The cortisone shot wore off/plantar fasciitis crept back in this month so I started Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology therapy. It sounded like snake oil but it’s based on the treatment to break up kidney stones w sound waves so why not, insurance covered it. It was SO WEIRD
