Our flag may be young, but it is iconic and easily recognizable.

Not Abacus. As noted in the attached page, for Abacus, the change is up 1 for the Cons, and down 4 for the Liberals. The previous poll for Abacus only had the liberals up 3.

The NDP often do quite well in rural ridings and areas where the Liberals don't stand a chance. It isn't always a left vs right thing in parts of the country. Some of them just really really don't like the Liberals, especially out west.

We average joes and janes can help starve the trolls of oxygen though, by blocking them ourselves.

That additional revenue is paid by the importers as mentioned in the story - it's a sales tax on Americans.

Absolutely. This is why we need to be very careful what we give up. Concessions that are not easy to reverse are not a good idea.

Trump signed the last trade deal himself and cannot be trusted to keep his word.

Has Chatgpt been using tiktok cleaning videos as its data source?

Getting cleaning advice from the internet is becoming pretty hazardous.

There are probably a lot of users like me, who don't post that often, but follow news.

I appreciate the lower bot incidence, lower harassment and additional control over my feed.

Twitter suppressed a lot of what I wanted to see in my feed, and fed me ragebait instead.

Ottawa is a beautiful city. I hope we invest more in our capital in this time when we're being reminded about what we love about our country.

Our downtown is worth investing in.

Expect a big shift to "sectoral" tariffs in next few days, now that country-wide tariffs struck down
Trump admin has been signaling for a while that it intended to rely more heavily on this tariff authority (Section 232), presumably b/c it might be easier to defend in court

*Sector-based tariffs (lumber, steel, copper, and more tk including chips, pharmaceuticals etc) use a different authority, Section 232, which are unaffected by this ruling
