Baby Shadi with her mom Zareen, during the happiest period of her life. Zareen was a basket weaver, and Shadi learned quite a bit of the trade herself, before her mother was sold by their owner (both were slaves/serfs). This is how Shadi learned how to weave her own slings btw!

Just finished Imperium Lupi II by @imperiumlupi.bsky.social. That was a great read and good fun, (it kept me hooked for a quite a few evenings at roughly 2000 pages all together).

I just read 'Sky's the Limit' by Ryft Sarri. It's a furry novella, and quite the fun and uplifting read, definitely brightened my evening up.
