I just recently finished a re-read of Legacy myself, and it is always nice to appreciate contextual details that I'd forgotten my forst time thru.
Also helped me appreciate just why this book hit me different than most; @rukis.bsky.social is an outstanding storyteller, even with tragedies.

I would suggest you read Illicit Alliance to get started, and then perhaps Heretic if you want backstory for Luther, then Brothers in Arms.
