Holy shit, I never realized until listening to a survivor story the 'spanking spatula/spoon' was a thing that largely came out of the IBLP, crazy how the tentacles of hard-line Evangelical child abuse end up in conservative American culture as a whole.

Obscure, archaic art month continues! This is lineart I actually did for an Anthrocon booklet way back when, the theme was Midsummer Night's Dream, I think. I believe it got colored and ended up as a schedule guide cover, but I can't remember!

I am ashamed of my country, terrified for what we may still do and the evils we have already wrought upon the world, grieve the suffering we've inflicted for the sake of capital, abusers, and war criminals.
