#Stuttering is a motor speech disorder that is quite common in the general population. Most causes of stuttering are unknown.

So far 5 rare genes have been identified to cause stuttering in some individuals: GNPTAB, GNPTG, NAGPA, AP4E1 & PPID

SLP-related research into all the conditions #SLPeeps treat just got a whole lot harder. Indirects are funds on top of a grant award that keep the lights on, fund staff, pay for supplies, buildings, internet, computer access, etc etc etc… hamstring them is a blow to research #SLP #bskySPEECHIES

Planning is not writing. Brainstorming is not writing. Reading is not writing.
