Last week, the forces of @dhsgov and the US military invaded LA’s MacArthur Park, overwhelming kids at a summer camp. Sounds like “South Park,” but shows the raw power a president can project into cities, arguably lawfully and hugely funded by Congress. My article: www.latimes.com/opinion/stor...

Scarily unconstitutional and lawless abuse of power by a thin-skinned autocrat-wannabe with a fragile ego who wants to prosecute critics for “treason.” C’mon @GOP, is there a line somewhere this guy could cross where you’ll finally say “enough”? washingtonpost.com/nation/2025/04…

Good column by @jbouie - Trump is not just taking unconstitutional actions. He is opposed to any constitutional/legal constraints on his desire to do whatever he wants. He wants to be an autocrat like Putin, unconstrained by the rule of law. It’s up to us to stop him. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/19/o...

The idea that we would extort Ukraine by demanding a huge amount of the country’s mineral wealth as a price for US military support for its fight for freedom against Russian aggression strikes me as utterly despicable. An insult to all we stand for.
