As a fair trade organization, we help our partners invest in clean energy sources. In 2024, we partially funded solar powered water heating systems for artisans in Nepal, helping them work more efficiently and reduce their reliance on fuel.

Last year, SERRV helped fund a beekeeping class for artisan women in Israel and the West Bank to help provide them a secondary source of income when there aren't olives to harvest and press. They're able to protect the bees and provide for their families—a win-win!

This year's theme, "A Legacy of Leadership and Resilience," celebrates the incredible challenges and hardships the AAPI community has overcome, and encourages all of us to learn more about their history and struggles, as well as ways we can promote diversity and acceptance in our own communities. 🧵
