Yes, it is entirely correct to point out that ICE officers do not have any legal authority to break into somebody’s home unless they get a judicial warrant; which they generally cannot do, because judges only issue warrants for probable cause of crimes, not immigration law violations.

By a 5–4 vote, the Supreme Court holds that states may NOT immunize state officials from certain federal civil rights lawsuits alleging unlawful delays in an administrative process (like the provision of welfare benefits). Kavanaugh and Roberts join the liberals. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24p...

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

Most embarrassing thing I've enjoyed recently: The "In Search of Darkness" movies, extremely long pseudo-docs in which 80s horror movie creators/stars (and eventually fans) talk about their work. That's it. Like 6-hour convention panels. And I loved it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oTK...

"157 Election Deniers Remain in Congress Four Years After Jan. 6 Insurrection"

Zeteo's @premthakker.bsky.social on how Brazil and South Korea learned lessons and implemented accountability after their attempted coups. But the U.S. didn't. And we're still paying for that 4 years later.

157 Election Deniers Remain in Congress Four Years After Jan. 6 Insurrection
Trump’s return to the White House with an enduring number of loyalists in Congress underscores just how politically trivial the ‘election denier’ label has become.
