Highly recommend Greatest Estate Developer, where the isekai’ed guy is a Korean civil engineer who proceeds to introduce advanced irrigation, heated flooring, the apartment complex, centaur race tracks, and mermaid hot springs, while simultaneously being incredibly greedy and amazingly generous.

I miss isekai's like .hack//SIGN which discussed destructive escapism, gender expression, what it means to be part of a community positively and negatively, how to cope with knowing your imminent demise, etc etc.

once upon a time a girl didn't NEED a STEM degree to get kissed by a sexy knight/dragon/angel boy she just needed a hobby. once upon a time the catgirls were actual cats and not slaves but were following the protagonist around everywhere for nebulous personal reasons. idk why does a cat do anything
