I love a good story. ✨ Fantasy is my dearest love—especially when it has some romance & witty banter. The complete Eyes of E’veria series is available in paperback and in KU. Hi!

Check your #studentloans One of my autopays did not process yesterday (it should have) but showed as past due today. I screenshotted, saved, & printed ALL my pmt histories & loan info just in case I *magically* 😡 lose access. Could this have something to do Delores Umbridge & the Ministry of Magic?

This is an extremely dangerous time in America, and a special report is warranted.

I know. I was there in those camps.

Sorry, if you want to try to convince me that it’s fine to use the energy sucking plagiarism machine that stole my novels as part of its training data, I’m going to go ahead and block you. Generative AI is plagiarism. It’s stealing other people’s labor and you don’t get to call that progressive.

You might be an Iowan if you found 43 degrees unbearably cold in September and October, but see that temp in late January and say, “Nah, I don’t need a coat just to run some errands” 🤷🏻‍♀️

just stumbled on a real jaw-dropper of a line in an essay -- “The corollary of being interested in a great range of things is to have sympathy with a great range of outlooks” -- and that, my friends, is why reading is so important.

President Trump's DOE has made themselves clear: they will support book banners in their efforts to strip our institutions of learning of the books that define them.

So let us be perfectly clear: we're going to do whatever we can to try and stop them.

Okay, I’m hoping this will gain some traction on Bluesky *inhales* SALEM PUBLIC LIBRARY IN OREGON IS IN DANGER OF CLOSING. This sets a dangerous precedent for state capital libraries!!

This is a continuation of the saga from last year, when we were saved at the last second by the then-mayor. (1/2)

Fun fact: You can have cards at more than one library, in more than one town! 📚💙 My daughter used to travel around the state for her job, and she obtained cards at libraries in several of the towns she frequented. Support as many libraries as you can! #booksky #library

The pull of other worlds is strong today.

Hold fast. Deep breaths. Read books.

Look to the art and the artists. The authors, painters, sculptors, and filmmakers. Stories will light our way through the dark.
