So inspired to see the Minneapolis Youth Congress sworn in tonight by Judge Angela Willms tonight, and hear Jameson Whiting telling them that when they are in places of power, they need to remember this moment and listen to what's important to teens

Between planned obsolescence & manufactured products and components that can't be repaired, only replaced, most of what we consider durable goods are much less durable now. My first house had a Honeywell thermostat for 75 years. It may still be going. Modern ones are expected to last a decade or so.

Another neighbor came out of his house and asked where the musicians were. He was wondering if it was anyone he knew. We walked together down the alley to find the backyard party and crashed it. It was the best.

My son and I used to love doing bike and pedestrian counts together. I think Minneapolis stopped doing them? Here we are in 2020 on the east side of the Number 9 bridge.
