NOW 325 DAYS since our nuclear test veterans - national heroes - requested a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss how he will honour the commitment Labour made to them in opposition.

How much longer must they wait?
If you are not yet familiar with the Nuked Blood Scandal watch this jaw dropping update.

Our Nuclear Test Veterans, national heroes now in their 80s, deserve better than this

I wouldn’t normally highlight this - but I think it is important to understand the sort of mind Peter Hitchens has - he lacks empathy - if he doesn’t experience it then it is made up and can be dismissed. An arrogance devoid of imagination and sadly prevalent in our world.

Remember: If unions didn’t matter, powerful corporations wouldn’t spend millions of dollars every year to stop them from forming. Keep up the fight.

One of the greatest opening scenes in any movie - so many who saw this in 1946 would have lost loved ones - a brilliant script and superb performances and everything else

I have spent a lot of time in Rutshire recently listening to the first 5 Jilly Cooper novels that I read as a teen. So much joy and ‘bonking’ but not sure how to balance that with the ‘of it’s time’ subject matter - lack of consent, lusting after school girls, drink driving and racist language.

Anything by The Cure, REM, The Pixies or TMBG (and more) and starting the intro in my head to the next song. I miss this for my wee ones.
i’m an album girly
playlists are cool
but listening to an entire album in order, the way the artist intended? that’s where it’s at for me personally

It feels different here but the follows from men in Drs scrubs or military uniforms have started….I wonder if they want to start a long distance love affair that will be riddled with unfortunate and expensive (for me) incidents?

We left X and joined Bluesky because those against our parks said, “If you don’t like it, leave.” So we did. And now they’re saying, “No, come back so we can say mean things to you—it makes us feel important.”
