My infatuation with Racket is really being tested by anonymous functions aka lambda. I am just not seeing the point, especially when it takes more lines of code to use an anonymous function than just defining the goddamn thing.
Also, it's making my code look ridiculous.

It is so fucking weird and really desperately needs someone to document it better (or like, at all, would examples kill them?) but here we are. I'm doing homework two assignments ahead because it's fun for me to feel like I'm coding with dream-logic.

TIL: creating an agnostic singleboard computer rack server that can take any* sbc is so much more ridiculously hard than I assumed, and I assumed it would be super ridiculous. Unless you want a Pi 5 Only or a Pi 4B/3 Only or a Pi 5 and 4B; then you're good to go.

Initial surgery for dental implants done, I survived, but apparently super stressed my surgeon and his people by waking up several times and then again at the end when they were sewing up things. Not fun.
Now the six month clock of NO CHEWING has begun. Yay?

So for various reasons, after well over twenty years, I'm considering not buying a Dell for my next upgrade. This is at least partially due to browsing Framework and experiencing something like a revelation. See, a friend sent me the site about twoish years ago and I LOVED EVERYTHING.

I start my first ever upper level class in three weeks, and I just realized after skimming the book that it's the one where you learn a programming language every week and have to write a program in it (or so the exercises at the end of each chapter seem to imply).
