Quit freaking out. Remember that in 10,000 B.C., when America had ZERO international trade, a family could afford a house like this on a single income.

Why does the clickty-clackity sound of someone walking lazily with slippers/flip-flops bug me so much? 😆🤪🤬

Working with Claude code is both amazing and annoying. I’m more annoyed at its optimism when completing an ask after something keeps breaking for the nth time haha

Adding my voice to the choir...Our healthcare system is 🍌's.

They indiscriminately send bills to try and catch you when you're sleeping and it subsequently takes so much time to make sure they are doing their job correctly. In what other industry does the consumer need to be so vigilant?

Genuine question: If they’re “reducing spending/improving efficiency” in US govt, does that mean our tax liability is reduced as a result?

Came across a really neat plotting tool that works in the terminal!

It’s called YouPlot and is a great way of being able to quickly visualize a dataset without having to open an IDE.

The experience volunteering here is always awesome, lots of local chapters. Kid friendly too (and kids tend love the jobs they get). Great way to spend a day with the family www.feedingamerica.org

Came across this great R package today and thought I'd share: surveydown.org

I think this brings a lot of value to a lot of people and organizations.

Nice work @jhelvy.bsky.social 👏🏼

I must say…Really liking uv, a super fast “Python package and project manager”.
Been a while since working more in Python and managing virtualenv, etc has always felt clumsy. uv really seems to simplify things and still keep a lot of functionality under the hood.
