I am thankful for family and all the extended branches of what family has come to mean for me. In these times of anger, frustration, and the normalization of cruelty, I remain encouraged by the steady flow of kindness, courage, and resilience from my close family and friends.

Student success has been reduced to some meaningless phrase to be thrown around. Any success strategy devoid of actual input from students and sustainable commitments from faculty is meaningless. #studentsuccess

As I said before,"student success" is often used euphemistically for policies and procedures to accomplish exactly the opposite. Less students will prosper in college and after college due to these policies. #studentsuccess
